Don 3 Confirmed! Producer Ritesh Sidhwani Shares Latest Update on Shah Rukh Khan's Upcoming Film

 Since the release of  Don 2 in 2012, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Shah Rukh Khan as Don in the action-packed franchise.

Fans of the Don franchise can breathe a sigh of relief as producer Ritesh Sidhwani has once again confirmed that Don 3 is in progress. According to the latest update, Farhan Akhtar is in the process of completing the script, which is sure to excite fans who have been waiting for a decade to see the return of Shah Rukh Khan as Don in the action-packed franchise. 

With the release of Don 2 in 2012, fans have been eagerly anticipating the next instalment, which was further fuelled by Hrithik Roshan's entry in the last film. Fan theories have been rife, trying to guess the plotline for Don 3.

According to a recent interview with PTI, Ritesh Sidhwani has confirmed that Farhan Akhtar is currently working on completing the script for Don 3. Sidhwani stated, "Till my partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it, we won’t do anything. Right now, he is in the phase of completing the script… Even all of us are eagerly waiting to see ‘Don’.”

Almost a year ago, Ritesh Sidhwani shared a picture of Farhan Akhtar working on the Don 3 script, indicating that the project was moving forward. Speaking to PTI, Sidhwani has now confirmed that Akhtar is in the process of completing the script. 

The franchise started in 2006 with Don: The Chase Begins, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Isha Koppikar. The film was a box office success, leading to the creation of a sequel, Don 2: The King Is Back, in 2011. 

The third and possibly final part of the franchise, Don: The Final Chapter, has been in development for several years. While it was once reported that Chopra would appear in the film, it remains uncertain. Chopra is currently working on Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zara. Fans will have to wait for official announcements regarding the upcoming film.
