Shooting

Filming for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" began on November 8, 2021, at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Henry Braham is serving as the cinematographer. Sylvester Stallone confirmed his return as Stakar Ogord, and Chukwudi Iwuji was revealed to be part of the cast. Iwuji's screen test for the film was shot on the set of "Peacemaker," and in return, Marvel let Gunn use the Vol. 3 set and crew to film Ezra Miller's cameo appearance as The Flash in the Peacemaker season finale.
