She then informed me that it is 'illegal'. This single word evoked images of police and court cases in my mind, making me feel like I had made a grave mistake."

Curious to understand her perspective, Nawazuddin asked her to clarify what she meant by "illegal." She elaborated, "If you wanted to touch my hand, you should have sought permission." Nawazuddin admitted that she had a valid point. She further explained the importance of respecting boundaries, comparing it to knocking on someone's door before entering their house.

Anurag Kashyap, who directed Gangs of Wasseypur, remembered this intriguing story that Nawazuddin had shared during the film's workshops.
