A Legacy of Accolades

Rehman's Dadasaheb Phalke Award joins a long list of accolades in her illustrious career. She had previously been honored with the Padma Shri in 1972, Padma Bhushan in 2011, and the National Award for Best Actress in 1971 for Reshma Aur Shera. Additionally, she clinched Filmfare Awards for Best Actress in 1966 for Guide and 1968 for Neel Kamal. Rehman also made history as the inaugural recipient of the Centenary Award for the Indian Film Personality of the Year.
